1. Who we are

This website is operated by Lefatlheng Motor Spares & Tyre Fitment (“we”, “us”, “our”), the responsible party for personal information collected through it, as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

2. Personal information we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us through our website forms or messages:

• Contact details — your name, phone number, email address and preferred contact method.
• Vehicle details — make, model, year, engine size or variant and, if you choose to provide them, registration number and VIN.
• Enquiry details — the products or services you are interested in, preferred dates and your message.

We do not ask for, or accept, payment or banking details through this website.

3. Why we collect it

We use your information only to:

• respond to your enquiry or quotation request;
• identify the correct parts, tyres or services for your vehicle;
• contact you by your preferred method about your enquiry; and
• keep a record of our communication with you.

We will not use your information for marketing unless you have separately agreed to receive it.

4. Consent and lawful processing

When you submit a form you confirm that you have read this policy and consent to us processing your personal information to respond to your enquiry. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us; this will not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.

5. How we protect your information

Our website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Form submissions are delivered to our team through our website hosting provider’s form service. Internal access to enquiries is limited to staff who need it to assist you.

6. Sharing with service providers

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only where necessary with:

• our website hosting and form-handling provider, which stores submissions on our behalf;
• our email provider, used to receive and reply to enquiries;
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp; and
• suppliers, only where needed to source a part you have requested.

Some of these providers may process information outside South Africa. Where this happens we rely on providers that are subject to adequate data protection laws or agreements, as required by POPIA.

7. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information only for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry and for our record keeping, generally no longer than 24 months, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

8. Your rights

Under POPIA you have the right to:

• ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access to it;
• ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, out of date or no longer needed;
• object to the processing of your personal information; and
• lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) — inforegulator.org.za.

9. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and does not currently use website analytics. Our website fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with Google. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy.
